Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Fifi! She is an adorable black mouth cur mix who is currently living in a foster home in Houston. She will be traveling to Wisconsin on Tuesday, January 19 and ready for meet and greets! Fifi lives with other dogs and does very well! She is described as submissive to dog and people, but also very playful when she has her time to romp in the backyard. She is still under 1 year old so she'll need work on staying off when she's excited. For that reason, children over 6 would be a best fit for her in a household.
Our adoption process works a bit different than other shelters and rescues! Paddy's Paws serves as a coordinator for Houston rescues. We send out the applications, arrange home visits and secure back up fosters for each of the dogs that will be transported here. Like most foster-based organizations, we do not have a facility and set up all appointments on an individual basis. Prior to any meet and greets, we require an approved application so we will need to go through all the steps before having you meet any of the available dogs here in Wisconsin.

We start with the completed application and then check references/vet records. The next step is a homevisit with family and one of our representatives. Once we have gathered all this information, we provide it to the Houston team. Then, we can set up a meet and greet with available dogs.
