Sandy's Story...
This sweet girl is Sandy, a female dog estimated to be around 1 year old as of December 1, 2015, and a Border Collie mix. Not sure where the vet came up with that breed, but.....

Sandy loves attention from the volunteers and she gets along with other dogs including big dogs. She is currently in a pen with a big Labrador Retriever and having a ball playing.

Sandy resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Oakland Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
