Tucker - MEET HIM's Story...
Tucker was found wandering the streets looking for food and shelter. He was very matted and we had to have him shaved down. His eyes were infected and we treated them and he is all clear, but he does have dry eye so will need daily drops which he takes beautifully - about $15/month. He is approx 2 yrs old and 15 lbs and looks like a little cairn terrier mix. He is absolutely precious, a really sweet boy gets along with all of the other dogs, loves to run and play and just loves toys of any size he will go find and run and play with. He can amuse himself very easily. He is a great lap dog and will just lie in your arms and sleep. He is just a really nice dog, seems to be pretty well house trained but not perfect and does quite well on a leash… he is going to be a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker - MEET HIM, a Norwalk Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
