Archie's Story...
Meet Archie! He is one adorable moppet on the lookout for his loving forever home. Archie wants his new person to be in it with him for the long haul since cats can live to be upwards of twenty years old. Archie was born with a defect on his back legs that causes them to bow out, affecting his gait. He needs to stay indoors and will be able to move best on carpeted floors. Beyond that he is in good shape and is a playful guy who is fond of a good cuddle. He's also an adventurous player who would love to have a cat tower to climb on, scratch, and perch on. Archie seems fairly comfortable around other cats and should be okay living with an active cat. He is confident enough to live with a cat-savvy dog that won't chase him. Archie can play a bit rough at times and needs a home with older children or adults only in his new home. If you would like to meet Archie, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can spend some quality time with him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Bellingham Polydactyl/Hemingway kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
