Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spivey Norborne is a female dachshund mix who is about 2 to 3 yrs. old. Spivey has had a rough time in life. She was a stray for some time and was so scared of people that they could not catch her for a long time. She finally let a good Samaritan catch her who was feeding her and she was pregnant. She had 9 pups and was a great mother to them and now they are weaned and now she is looking for a family of her own! The puppies will not be ready for adoption until sometime in February. Spivey is on the shy side and takes some time to warm up to you. She needs to have another dog companion to help her build trust. She needs a fenced in yard. She is a sweet girl who loves chew toys and would rather be on a doggie bed than crated. Spivey is house trained and once she gets to know you - she is in love with you! And will follow you everywhere. This girl is very special and is looking for someone who will give her quality time that includes love and has patience with her warming up - but no worries she will become your most loyal dog once she does.
