Buster's Story...
Ready to bust otta' this place! My name is Buster…see I'm so funny…but seriously I'm ready to go and do and explore new roads and meet new folks. Arriving looking and feeling really poor (I had cuts and wounds all over my body), I quickly got the medical care I needed and now I sit. Guaranteed you'll not meet a more friendly, vibrant guy. My book is wide open and I have love and energy to share. Clearly born to run and play, I am interactive plus! Other dogs might find me a bit intimidating as I'm strong and a bit "in their face" but I mean them no harm. I'm naturally curious and ready to quick, hurry meet new doggies. I'm best suited in a home where I can stretch my legs and keep an active lifestyle. Smart and very alert, If you are looking for a doggy companion to keep you on your toes and also tightly snuggle next to you, I could be your new best friend.
Very lovable sweet boy, 3-4 years, heartworm positive

Act quickly to adopt Buster. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Darlington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
