Abby's Story...
Abby thought she hit the jackpot when she got adopted from a local shelter. Unfortunately the resident cat didn't take kindly to having a new sibling and began bullying Abby. Her new family tried everything that their veterinarian suggested to try to keep the peace in their home, but after 6 months they realized that it just wasn't going to work out.

She is the softest, sweetest girl ever! And to top it off she has the sweetest little meow that does not match her full figure! Her markings are just beautiful!! She would love to be the focus of all of your attention, she is kind of scared of other cats and growls when she is feeling worried. If you are looking for a wonderful companion that will sit with you, sleep with you and play with you! Then look no further, Abby is your girl!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
