Harley - NJ's Story...
Harley was adopted in April of this year, but his new owner had to work 10+ hour shifts and could no longer take care of him. Harley is a PUPPY still, and must go to a home where people can work with him.
Harley is 10 months old, an owner surrender. DOB 9/14/2007 he is from Ohio. He is a red long hair who weighs 10 lbs. He is neutered. Talk about a wonderful baby, he can sit and do "down." A husband bought him and and his brother Joey as gifts for his daughters who were allergic, his new wife stuck them in a kennel. Great news is that it was a kennel that trains police dogs, and they called CCDR!

His adoption fee is $300.00. Harley is in a foster home in Sicklerville,NJ. For more information about him, please contact his foster Mom, Julie, at JEIRE@ATT.NET or 609-868-0875.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley - NJ, a Jacobus Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Jacobus, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Jacobus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacobus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacobus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacobus paves the way for another one to be saved.
