My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tazzy is a sweet Terrier mix girl who is approximately 1-1.5 years old and weighs 40 lbs. Tazzy has quite the story. Here’s what her foster mom says: “Tazzy they believe she was hit by a car. Animal Control found her and was going to euthanize her. Vet said she would have no quality of life and wouldn't be able to eat. I didn't buy that and Tazzy and I both were determined to prove them wrong. We found an awesome surgeon in Nashville and they did an artificial shoulder and hip. They reconstructed her bottom jaw and she has no problem with it. She does limp on the front leg but that's cause of the inmobility of the joint not cause it bothers her. She can run like crazy and during the day when I'm at work I keep her in the dog run outside where she has no problem moving her dog house around with the same jaw a vet said she would never be able to eat with lol. She is great inside the house and gets along with my 3 cats as well. She can be a little territorial when it comes to her dog bowl but then I am too when it comes to my desert plate so can't fault her there haha. She is very sweet and full of energy. Her artificial joints has not slowed her down at all. She loves attention and just loves everyone. She would make an awesome companion.”
Tazzy has been around kids ages 4 and up and does well with them. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. In addition to her reconstruction surgeries, she was also treated for heartworms. She is all patched up though now and can’t wait to find her forever family! She deserves it!!

Tazzy would be a great addition to a family that likes to go for runs as she loves activity. Please contact

dunn5061@yahoo.com for more information. Her adoption fee is $275 which includes transport to her new home.
