My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Benny! I'm a young (approximately 2 year old) tibetan spaniel/ dachshund mix. I weigh 20 lbs. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I can be a little bit cautious and timid when I first meet you, but once I warm up, I’ll be your best friend! I’m a happy little guy that loves to wag my feathery tail all about. I have been very friendly and playful with the dogs I’ve met in my foster home. My favorite place to relax is in a warm lap. I love my bones and toys a little bit too much, so I would prefer to be with a family that has older, dog savvy children. I am making great progress with house-training!

Benny is being fostered in Lunenburg.

The adoption fee is $350.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
