Dell's Story...
Hi Everybody my name is Dell and I am a very independent guy. I am not what you would call a lap cat but I do like people and getting pets and rubs whenever I can. I need my space, it's a guy thing. I am adjusting to life at the shelter since I was used to roaming a bit, so may take me time to adjust to my new digs, but I am looking forward to more space to run and burn off my energy. If you are looking for a good looking energetic guy to have around the house (no children please) I am him. I am vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, micro chipped and housetrained, of course. Please call the shelter at 705-458-9038 to come and check me out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dell, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
