Brandy's Story...
Special adoption fee $125 pair; must be adopted with bonded sister Brittany
Brandy
Born 10/1/15
Female Cream and Brown Tabby Maine Coon Mix

Brandy and her sister Brittany were found in somebody's backyard. They were too young to be weaned, but their mother was nowhere to be seen, and if they hadn't been rescued, they would certainly have died within a few days. Fortunately, we had space for them in foster care, and during the past three months we have watched them transformed from fragile bottle babies to happy little bundles of fun.

Brandy is a longer-haired Maine Coon mix kitten; her sister Brittany is more of a short-haired tabby. They are extremely bonded and spend hours at a time romping, playing with their toys, and chasing anything that moves. They will come to get attention from their foster mom and they love to sleep on the bed. They enjoy the company of other kitties and with proper introductions would do fine with dogs.

They will come to you spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox perfect.
They are fostered in Davis, CA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Davis Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Davis, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
