MACY's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

MACY's Story...
MACY came to us in a horribly neglected condition, found as a stray ( how she survived on the mean streets is beyond us ! ) Her hair was so matted she had to be shaved down but after being fully vetted and in foster care for 2 months, her hair is almost grown back and this adorable little one is ready for a family that will ensure she is never neglected again ! MACY is a very easy going dog aged 6yrs old and weighing 10lbs. True to the Shih Tzu nature, she is a sweet, companion dog with a mellow disposition. MACY is good around other dogs ( unless they try to steal her chicken ! ) and cats too, but she would probably be happiest as a spoilt only child :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MACY, a Los Angeles Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
