My family didn't want me anymore

Derry likes to sleep in shoe boxes and she loves, loves, loves to be around people!!  Her owner brought her to us and said he 'didn't want her anymore'.  What?  One of our foster moms scooped her up and took her home.  She discovered that Derry is a very sweet, laid-back cat who loves a back scratch, a hug and a short discussion on the day's events.  She played with a catnip-stuffed sock toy for a long, long time and then curled up with her foster mom for lots of hugs and scratches.  What's not to love?  Derry is getting up enough courage to make friends, and especially likes her foster parents' dogs - she's a very endearing cat.  Miss Derry is covered in pretty grey fur with light stripes, she's microchipped and the registration info lists her birthdate as April 2009. If you have lots of love to give and are looking for love in return, this cat would be a terrific friend.

A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
