  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Unknown

  • ID#: 9550624-8585

Ken is a very sweet and loving boy. He finished his heartworm treatment in May and is ready for his forever home. He enjoys going on walks and meeting new dogs. He can sit, shake, stay, come, lay down, and stay. Ken loves to play and go on hikes. He had a stay for three weeks at Hornbaker Dog Training and has really gained confidence. Although he is still working on things, they said he was a star pupil and will make a great forever dog! He would do best in a home with room in the backyard to run and play. He has been around small children and does well.

About A Forever Home Rescue Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue group that operates in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metropolitan area. We strive to make quality dogs available for adoption and do our best to match prospective adopters with the right animal!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held at Petco in the Greenbriar Shopping Center every Sunday from 1-4 pm. We do occassionally skip a week, so please visit our primary website at www.aforeverhome.org to confirm that we're having an event on the weekend you plan to attend.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home. An adoption fee is required to adopt a pet from AFH. Please visit our primary website at www.aforeverhome.org for details.
