Elvis Purrsley's Story...
My name is Elvis Purrsley, I'm an almost 2 months old orphan. My siblings and I were rescued by a wonderful SOS foster and we're turning her world upside down.

I'm a playful and affectionate kitten that wants to conquer the world. When my mom enters the room with our food, I always try to run for the door to see what's out there; what else is there to explore! But, as soon as she calls my name, I come running back because I don't want to miss out on the food. My siblings might not leave me my fair share.

I'm eating wet food and dry food and use the litter box like a champ. My favorite spot is on top of the cat tree where I can watch what is going on.

If you would like to meet me please contact us by email info@SOScatrescueAZ.org or fill out an adoption application, and we will contact you about meet-and-greet possibilities. ~Elvis

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis Purrsley, a Tucson Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
