Hi! My name is Peanut. I got that name because I'm kind of a little guy, at nine pounds. I'm two years old and I was a favorite at the Baltimore County Animal Shelter. But because I had some health problems, the wonderful people at AARF found me a foster home.

As you can see, I have a permanent wink. It's because I had a bad problem with one of my eyes so I had to have it removed. But that doesn't bother me at all! In fact, because it hurt, I'm a lot happier.

The cat doctor also said I have a heart murmur, but I don't even need to take medication for it. I just need to have it checked when I have my yearly physical at the kitty cardiologist.

I'm a really lovable boy who would love to hang out with you. And if you have another mellow cat or dog, that would be great too! I love to give head bumps and every now and then I might even let you pick me up!

I do like to play, and little balls are my favorite. Feathers kinda freak me out, but balls are great! I love to play hide and seek with them.

I love to perch on a cat tree and look at my surroundings, and I love to look out the window.

I'm a perfect gentleman who always remembers to use the litter box.

I think you can tell I'm pretty special. My foster mom loves me and thinks it won't be long before I find my forever home. I hope I can be your special someone!

My adoption fee is $150.00 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with an offer for 30 days of free 24PetWatch pet insurance!
