This gentle soul is Keeva, a male American Pit Bull Terrier around 2 years of age who, sadly, did not have a good start in life. Keeva was found as a stray with evidence of a hot liquid having been poured on his back, most likely intentional, and perhaps in an attempt to make him “mean.” It didn’t work on this guy, though, for he is as sweet and gentle as a kitten. Keeva is still understandably a little nervous and cautious when meeting new people, particularly males, but warms up quickly once he realizes he will not be harmed. Keeva is doing great at his foster home, where has been a perfect house guest. He is quiet and well behaved, and enjoys snuggling with his people whenever he gets the chance. Keeva is an excellent passenger in the car, and also loves going for his walks. There is not a mean bone in his 57-pound body and, as evidenced by his behaviour at his foster home, will make a very loving and loyal companion. We invite you to complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you're interested in adopting handsome Keeva.
