Facts about Pebbles

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9553073-Reece-C-Pebbles
  • Hair: Short

Pebbles along with BamBam were taken in as a stray kittens by a nice lady who just couldn't keep them. They were extremely shy when first taken in, but have made significant progress since we separated them. Still not the biggest cuddlers, they do like to play with with humans as well as the other cats in the homes. We don't know if they ever will be cuddlers, but if you're looking for a companion for a lonesome cat, Pebbles would be great at that. She's not needy, so she won't interrupt you for affection.

We estimate they're about 1yr old as of Jan. 2015. Pebbles has been spayed and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. For more info, call 662-342-9448 or email: info@desotoanimalrescue.org

About Desoto Animal Rescue Society

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. All animals taken in receive necessary medical care, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process.

We are not affiliated with the Desoto County Animal Shelter or any governmental agency. We do not receive any taxpayer funds. We operate solely on donations and the revenue we generate from fundraising events. 100% of our incoming funds go directly towards the care of our animals and to pay our vet bills. All other expenses are paid for by our own volunteers.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We've made it very easy for you to donate one time, set up a recurring payment/sponsorship or do a tribute for someone. Everything is on our website here: info@desotoanimalrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please see our website for the locations and times of our Adoption Events. We occasionally have special events which we're unable to post on all sites.

Our Adoption Process...

All pets are up-to-date on routine vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are tested heartworm negative and all cats are tested feline aids/feline leukemia negative. We require a pre-adoption application and a home visit. To help cover our veterinary costs, we ask for a $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 adoption donation for cats and kittens.
