MEET Lady and Boo -
Late last week, ODR, Inc. received a call for help with a bonded pair down in Reedsport Oregon; Their owner passed away in the home and left behind his wonderful 7 yr old, 11 lb Pomeranian named “Boo” and his bonded best friend “Lady” who is a small (9 lb) 10 yr old smooth red Dachshund. These two sweet, cuddly senior friends are looking for a loving family willing to take them in and love them for the rest of their lives.
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
REMINDER: This is a COURTESY LISTING for LADY and BOO. These dogs are not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact The Heart of Rescue, Tracy Powell at annioakly@aol.com or call 503-806-5563
