Tao's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This sweet little boy will make someone very happy!  He is a laid back little one, really just interested in being the lap dog of your home!  He is small, 5 lbs and a pretty tan with white markings.  Tao is housetrained in my opinion, he does great.  He is not thrilled to be on a leash but will tolerate it.  Tao is fine with our cat but is not a fan of big dogs.  He is OK with another smaller dog but would be just as happy as the only child of the house too!
Tao was an owner surrender, another victim of the economy.  Please consider this gorgeous boy if you are looking for a well mannered loving little dog to keep you company!

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tao, a Buffalo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
