Luka's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Luka is a recent addition to Pixie Mamas!  She hails from Alabama and is now being fostered in Buffalo.  Luka is a small little girl but she looks like a big dog - a German Shorthair Pointer I think!  She is 8 months old and weighs 15 pounds.  Luka is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm neg and microchipped.  She is very friendly and playful!  Luka would love another little dog to play with since she is still a puppy.  She loves kids too!  Luka walks well on the leash and is also fine in a crate.

If you want a little dog with a BIG dog look - please consider Luka!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luka, a Buffalo Pointer/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Rat Terrier for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Pointer/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
