Bogy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This little cutie is Bogy - he is a 5 year old schipperke mix that recently arrived at our rescue.  His family is moving and not taking him along for it. It seems to be a running theme lately!

Boog is a sweet boy, he likes people and other dogs. He is playful with both - he loves toys!   He does fine with the cats in his foster home, he does not bother them at all.  Bogy is leash, crate and houestrained (please expect accidents though!!).  He does not require a yard but loves to run so it would be nice!  Bogy is smart and has learned the routine in his foster home fast - genius!  This is a great little dog that will make a person or family vey happy and feel loved!

Bogy is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg, worm and flea treated.  Boog has been diagnosed with luxating patellas - bad knees.  Per the vet, surgery is not required he is doing just fine but we want to make sure his new family is aware of everything.  We have adopted out many dogs with this condition and they are fine and great pets!  Please do not let this deter you from considering Bogy - he would really like a forever family this time!!  His adoption fee is $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogy, a Buffalo Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
