Zoey's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This pretty young girl is Zoey, a 1 year old border collie mix!  We think she is mixed with some kind of spaniel.  She is about 43 pounds, full of energy and love!  Zoey's first family gave her up after her puppy days were over so we are looking for a family to love her for the rest of her life!

Zoey loves people, especially kids!  She loves to play and would love someone who has the energy to keep up with her.  A fenced yard and active family is the ideal home for this girl!  She would really excel at agility training if possible.  Zoey is leash trained and crate trained - she is house trained too but please expect accidents while she is adjusting to her new routine.  Zoey loves other dog and has no issues with cats.  She really likes to be outside - it's in her breed!  She is smart and knows some basic commands but is easily trained too.

Zoey is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, up to date on vaccines, flea and worm treated.  Her adoption fee is $250 - if you think you are the family for this sweet girl, please apply online!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Buffalo Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
