Tucker's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This cute boy is Tucker  -  a 10 month old Minature Schnauzer.  He weighs about 16 pounds and is a very handsome black & tan!  Tucker was surrendered to a local shelter due to lack of time and he found his way to Pixie Mamas soon after!

Tucker is a fun puppy!  He is energetic and playful - LOVES to play with other dogs.  He is great with kids too!  He is friendly and likes people.  Tucker is leash trained and really likes to go for walks and hikes!  He is a big hit at dog parks!  Tucker also loves car rides.  He is crate trained too.  Tucker is working hard on his housetraining - he is young and just neutered, so he needs a good routine.  He is doing well because he loves to go outside but needs consistancy and reinforcement.  A fenced yard would be ideal for Tucker, he will want to run so no electric fences.  He knows some basic commands but obediance class would be great for this puppy!  This happy go lucky boy will be a great addition to any home!

Tucker is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested neg, microchipped, and worm/flea treated.  His adoption fee is $325 - this is to help with vet bills for him and some of the less adoptable dogs in our rescue!  Please apply online if you are interested in adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Buffalo Miniature Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
