Norman's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This is Norman!  He is the cutest, sweetest boy.  Norman is 1 year old and weighs 36 pounds!  He is a great medium size dog  - very unusual looking but very very cute!  We do not know his breed mix - schnauzer with basset or something??  We do know his mom was a Boston Terrier/Shih Tzu mix!!   Norman was originally adopted from us as a puppy but due to a change in living, he was returned.  That's ok - that's why we're here!

Norman is great!  Playful and fun and laid back and loving all in one.  He is leash trained, crate trained and appears to be housetrained!  He will do better in a fenced yard - he loves to run and play, especially with kids and other dogs.  He is so much fun to watch play.  Norman likes to lay by his foster mom's feet and just hang out.  He is just a happy boy and will make a wonderful family pet.

Norman is neutered, up to date with his vaccines, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated and microchipped!  His adoption fee is $275 - this will also help some of our more unadoptable dogs in rescue!  Please apply online if you are interested in making this sweet boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Buffalo Standard Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standard Schnauzer for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Standard Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standard Schnauzer breeders who help with Standard Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
