Fulton's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This handsome fellow if Fulton!  He is about 5 years old and a cairn terrier mix. He weighs about 20 pounds.  Fulton was surrendered to a local shelter due to his owner's health issues.  He was scared there so we gladly took him in.

Fulton is a sweet boy - he loves to be near his foster mom and wherever she is, he is!  He is leash trained and crate trained.  Fulton also knows basic commands - he is pretty smart!   He is doing well with his housetraining too - just neutered so please expect some accidents.  He does love to be outside and now that the weather is nicer, he is always out in the yard!  Fulton is fine with other dogs.  He does well with the cats in his foster home - sometimes he barks but nothing vicious.  Fulton was fine when tested with kids too.  He is a happy boy that likes to please.  He likes toys and his chewies too!  Fulton does well in the car and enjoys going on rides.

Fulton is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  He has also been given a dental!  His adoption fee is $250 to help cover his expenses.  Please apply online if you are interested!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fulton, a Buffalo Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
