Chino's Story...

Meet Chino, a 3-year-old domestic longhair buff orange tabby boy. Chino is a fair sized tall boy kitty looking to be the king of your castle and the only feline buddy in your household. He's a handsome, smart kitty and likes playing with wands toys, batting ball toys and being admired on his terms. When he grants it, a chin rub is nice. Chino is currently staying in a foster home but he would love to meet you! If you're interested in meeting this giant hunk of a cat, contact our Adoption Team at 425-649-7563 or adoption@seattlehumane.org.

Chino is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV and go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and their very own identification tag and collar. PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion – a great way to start off on the right paw!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chino, a Bellevue Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
