Sammy's Story...
My name is Sammy and I am a cute little playful, snugly kitten. My brother and I live in a home with a big dog, a grown cat, and kids that visit often. We love everyone! We especially love to read or sleep with our foster Mom. When she sits down to read, we love to hop up in her lap and take a nap all snuggled up and warm. We also love to sleep with her in bed, cuddled up next to her at night. During the day, we are rambunctious little kittens and we love to play with just about anything! Our favorite napping position after a long playtime is snuggled up together, belly to belly. We would love to go home together but given a loving family and maybe some doggy or kitty friends to play with, we would be fine going home separate as well. I can't wait to join your family!

All kitties go to their new owners spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and are negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adoption or have any questions, please contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Manhattan Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
