Fred's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Fred's Story...
Meet Fred! He is an adorable 8 week old baset mix puppy. These guys are only 8 weeks but already 17 lbs! They're going to be huge dogs! They are very sweet and very trainable at such a young age! They are neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. They are currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but are not picky about where they end up as long as they are loved! Fred can be adopted with his twin brother George or they can go to separate homes. To inquire email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http:/ www.FORrescue.net/dog-application

Fred and George have been adopted but we are getting two more of their siblings in just a few weeks. One is the same coloring as Fred and the other is black and white. These guys love being outside and are going to need a large fenced in yard. They are also quite large and clumsy so they would do best in a home with no children under the age of 5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Chattanooga Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
