Sugar's Story...
Isn't she sweet! Sugar is a gorgeous black Lab X Staffy mix, looking for her forever family. Rescued in Mexico, she is now in foster care in Nanaimo BC. This active lady is approx 3.5 years old, and weighs 44 pounds. She loves to run and play, and would make a great jogging or hiking partner. Sugar does not like cats, but is good with submissive dogs as she likes to be the boss lady. She is great with people, and would be best suited for a home with children aged 10 and up. Spayed, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations, Sugar is ready for adoption. Please contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com if you would like to add a little sugar to your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Nanaimo Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
