Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet me at PetSmart on Poplar at 240 Saturday, May 14th from 11am to 3pm.
Roxy is about 2 years old, heartworm negative, current on vaccines and preventatives now. She has an awesome personality and gets along with other dogs fine. She is spayed and has a microchip. She has the face of a mastiff and the body of a yellow lab with the sweet personality of both breeds. She weighs about 75 pounds.
If you are a big dog fan then please consider this sweet girl. We have no idea why no one has snatched her up yet? You do not have to be a puppy to bond with a family. With as many fosters that have stayed at the Dog House I can tell you they do bond and do appreciate a new life.
We learned about Roxy and her little family of 9 and knew we had to offer Frances some help. Frances is 79 and took in Roxy off the streets in Memphis. She found out quickly that she was pregnant. The little ones were born in early November and Frances had her hands full caring for all of them. She reached out for help and Save1Pet picked up the family on January 7th.
Her adoption fee is $120.
If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://members.petfinder.com/~MS72/adoption_app.html
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications.
When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract
