My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact the foster, Theresa by email at theresadlyon@gmail.com for more information on how the pup can become part of your family

Ivy is a one year old spayed female bully breed mix with plenty of puppy energy. She will play with toys for hours, even if you are not playing she is fine making-up games of her own! She bonds quickly and loves a lot of affection and snuggling with her people.

She is underweight, but is not food aggressive. She is slowly gaining weight and is healthy in all other respects, and is also up to date on her vaccinations. She is potty and crate trained, and spends her nights cuddling with her stuffed giraffe.

Ivy walks well on leash, but we are still working on not pulling. She would make a great pup for someone who likes to run or hike! Ivy is food motivated and has learned "sit" and is currently working on "stay". Her trick list will keep growing, as she is a fast learner and very smart.

Her former family had children who were very fond of her, so she is likely good with kids. She is untested with cats, but is very curious about the neighborhood strays. As you can tell from her pictures, Ivy is content to curl up on a cushy spot after she is done with her walk and playing. She is currently crated while her foster parents are at work, and has had zero accidents! For a young dog, Ivy catches on very quick and is eager to please. We will provide a few of Ivy's favorite toys to take with her to her new family.

PLEASE contact the foster, Theresa by email at theresadlyon@gmail.com for more information on how the pup can become part of your family.
