My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys! My name is Rory. I'm a 5 year old male Pomeranian mix and I weigh about 16 pounds. I'm super friendly and sweet, with a calm disposition. I get along great with everybody I meet - dogs and people alike!

When I was brought into the shelter as a stray, I was limping and having a very hard time getting around. This prompted the vet to do some x-rays. Upon further examination, it was determined that I had sustained several pelvic fractures. When CageFree heard about me, they decided right then and there to find me a forever home where I would be safe and well cared for. My friends at the rescue aren't entirely sure, but they think that I had probably been hit by a car. The vet says that I have to be on cage rest for the next few weeks to make sure that my fractures heal properly. After my activity restriction is over, I shouldn't need any further treatment and I'll be as good as new!

I've been a really good patient so far, sitting quietly and waiting patiently for my new family to find me. Are you looking for a sweet, gentle, adult dog that also happens to be downright adorable?
