She is FeLV positive and therefore cannot share a home with other kitties, unless they are also positive- other species of animals are absolutely fine, though. :)
Calliope is 2.5 years old, FIV+/FeLV+/Herpes+, VERY LOVING AND SOCIAL, has been living in isolation for a year and a half (as of 4/8/17). For these reasons she truly needs a new foster home where she can have unlimited human contact, love, and attention on a daily basis. ALL EXPENSES WILL BE PAID FOR by her current home in her new foster home- all that Calliope will require from her foster is a clean, safe home with lots of love and cuddles... and a person whom can openly communicate about her health and her needs with her mom.
FeLV has an average life span of 3 years from diagnosis and as Calliope has already been in her current home in isolation for half that time, it's evident why a new foster home where she will have unlimited love, affection, and freedom is so desperately wanted. This sweet, tiny girl truly deserves it! For any questions or further inquiry, please fill out an adoption application for Calliope. It's not an obligation, but simply the first step in communication. Thank you so very much!
