Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jake the JRT is down on his luck. His owner sadly has serious medical and can no longer care for him. Jake was adopted from us a year ago and it was very hard for his owner to return him back to us but she had no other alternatives. He is 2 years in age and loves to be with people. He snuggles with you and even sleeps under the covers with you if you let him. He is good with other dogs but he would be okay as the only child too - he loves the attention. He is crate trained (prefers to be uncrated if he had the option) and is housebroken. He is looking for a home that will be compassionate with him. Prior JRT experience or familiar with the breed is recommended. Jake attaches quickly like velcro to his person. He is used to living in a calm surrounding and a lot of activity gets him overwhelmed. He is allergic to chicken, which is important to note. Please complete an online application if you are interested in Jake @ www.henricohumane.org
