Maid Marion's Story...
Meet Maid Marion! This special little girl has a heartwarming story that is sure to melt your heart. Marion was found as a stray with her beloved Robin Hood. They were both recently groomed and looked well fed, so they once had a family that loved them dearly. Although, their owners never came back for them. We could tell from the start that Marion was a senior poodle and had medical issues. After an exam from the vet, it was determined that Marion not only has chronic dry eye, which will need daily medications the rest of her life, but is also completely blind. Now you see, Marion depends on Robin Hood to be her eyes, she gets very anxious when she is not around him, and is very bonded to him. They must be adopted together and will have a combined adoption fee of $95.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maid Marion, a Fredericksburg Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
