My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flynn is fostered in Sheboygan WI, 53083 through United Yorkie Rescue http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org. To find out more about Flynn, contact his foster mamma at: wendys.furkids@gmail.com
Flynn's a 7 year old, 6 lb. Yorkie boy. He came to United Yorkie Rescue in December 2015 through another rescue who saved him from an Amish puppy mill. The length of time he was at the Amish puppy mill is unknown, but it appears he's been a puppy mill dog his whole life. Flynn's currently adjusting to his new life of freedom, getting his vaccinations updated, dental completed, and will be neutered. He's very leery of people at this point in time, with no socialization, but as is so common with puppy mill dogs, he's great with other dogs, as these are his people. Puppy mill dogs often require another dog in the home, to assist with their adjustment and learning, and provide the type of social interaction they're used to.
Flynn will be learning to trust humans in his coming weeks and months of freedom and needs someone who's understanding of this new big world he's now a part of. He'll need help with potty training, human interaction and as with most puppy mill dogs, will need to either be leashed at all times when outside, or be contained in a fenced yard.
At this time, Flynn needs a lot of patience, love, kindness, and a soft cheery voice. He eats in the same room with his foster siblings, and is fine with that. As we learn more about his personality, update will be made to his bio.
