Spunky - Sweet - Fabulous
We mustache (*must ask) you a question: are you looking for a dapper gal pal with a well-groomed 'stache and a sweet attitude? If you want a loyal companion who greets you at the door each day with let-rubs and purrs, and who is more interested in napping next to you on the couch than climbing your curtains then Shasta is the gal for you. That's not to say she isn't playful - Shasta loves her catnip, and boxes and tunnels! But she's outgrown all the kitten antics and is a calm, well-mannered, sweet lady.
Shasta can be a little shy until she gets to know you, but once you've connected, she will follow you around and sleep at the foot of the bed with you, and even let you hold her a bit. Shasta prefers a quiet home where she can just chill and relax without a lot of chaos. It isn't known how she is with other cats or with dogs. Older children are probably fine.
Shasta has diabetes and requires some extra medical care, which may include regulated diet and/or insulin. For more information, please contact APA!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
