Hello there! My name is Olivia. I’m about 2-3 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Minerva area. Nobody knows how I ended up out there all alone, but I was very cold (it was -3 the one night) and scared. I took up refuge at someone’s house. They had another dog and I kind of buddied up with him. They called the pound to come get me so I could have somewhere warm to stay while waiting for my owners or a new home. Needless to say, no owners ever came forward for me, so now I’m looking for a new family to love.
I’m the sweetest little girl! I love people. Sometimes it takes me a minute to get to know you but once I do, I’m very affectionate and loving.
I have a really short hair coat, so the girls here joke that I’m a pretty princess because I like wearing sweaters. Hey, what can I say? I’m a stylish gal with an eye for fashion and I like being nice and warm.
I am very playful. I love playing fetch! It’s so much fun! I will bring my ball to you and let you take it from me so you can throw it for me again and when I’m tired, I just go lay down.
I get along well with the other dogs I have been around and I also did well with a cat that stopped in for a visit.
The girls here at the pound are fairly confident that I am housebroken too. I haven’t had any accidents in my kennel or in the office since I have been here at the pound. I hold it until I get let outside.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JANUARY 14, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
