My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello new world, I'm Toby! My name is new to me as well but I don't care what you call me as long as you love me! I am a youngster still with lots of puppy energy and enthusiasm. But I know enough to potty outside and I'm learning about crates in my foster home. I love my crate, it is my own space in which to sleep and eat. And it is so much better than where I lived before I was rescued. My sister and I were discovered as strays. While we were out loose, my sister was hit by a car and didn't survive. I stayed right with her, didn't leave her, how could I???

Some kind people scooped me up and took me to the shelter and some other people put a sad pic of me and my sister on Facebook. That worked great for me as I was rescued and am now off the streets, in a cozy foster home, and almost ready for my a forever home. I still have to go visit the doggie doctor, something about a "snewter?" I'm not going to worry about that, I"m too busy enjoying meeting new dog and cat friends. I'm pretty good with cats although I think they want to play when they run so naturally I follow them. But if you call me to come play with you instead, I'll do just that. I'm very open minded that way.

I am a petite fellow, about 30 lbs. They tell me I'm about a year old, I don't really remember. I may grow a little bit more but probably not much as I have petite paws so not much to grow into there. Foster mom says she will post some new pictures soon but she is having "compewter" problems, whatever those are!

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
