  • Age: 3 years old
  • Size/Weight: Large
  • Breed: Akita mix
  • Energy Level: Medium/High
  • Personality: Good with large female dogs. Loves to give you hugs & kisses, a very nice boy and gentle. Quite boy, hardly makes a sound.
  • Good w/cats? No
  • Good w/dogs?: good with large female dogs, No small dogs
  • Good w/children?: Yes, he adores children but might knock down smaller kids

We rescued Toki from a life of being chained up 24/7 and he is very appreciative of his new life.  He loves people, kids and to give hugs!  Tokie loves to run around outside to play with other dogs, he even jumps off the porch on to the trampoline on purpose!

Toki doesn’t realize how big he is so we suggest a home without small children as he might accidentally knock them over.  He does great at adoption events with all the children, enjoys them scratching him and gives them kisses. He does well with large females, no small dogs or cats.

About Husky Pack Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Husky Pack Rescue (HPR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit GA licensed rescue volunteer organization that focuses on saving Siberian Huskies and other working dog breeds in North Georgia. Our goal is to educate the community on the responsibilities of owning one of these incredible animals and to help find them loving, forever homes.

Working with committed volunteers, fosters, local veterinarians, trainers, we are able to rescue and rehabilitate huskies along with other working class breeds that desperately need our help. We properly socialize each dog, provide them with loving foster homes, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

HPR serves as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

All dogs brought into our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested and/or treated as necessary. We stress the importance of these items to help reduce the overpopulation of our shelters with un-wanted, lost and sick animals.

HPR arranges educational and social events which highlight the attributes and needs huskies throughout the year.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most Saturdays at the Hiram Petsmart from 11 am - 4 pm.

Hiram Petsmart - 4794 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy Ste 108, Hiram Pavilion, Hiram, GA 30141

Our Adoption Process...

These are all the adoptable dogs that we currently have housed at HPR. All dogs have their own unique personalities, quirks and some times special needs. So it is best to call us directly if you are interested in one of our babies. We can then explain the dog you are interested in completely and you can make an informed decision about adoption.
Our adoption fee is $300 and this will cover their spay/neuter, all their shots, heart worm testing, first round of flea medication & heart worm preventative and a micro chip.
