Lexi is a charming, black Pomeranian girl who is about 9-10 years old and just as spunky and outgoing as a senior girl can be. She loves the world and still has lots of dances left on her dance card ….as they say. Lexie came to rescue completely deaf and with diminished vision due to clouds covering her eyes. About 4 months ago, a coughing spell ended in a diagnosis of enlarged heart and the beginning of congestive heart failure. However, treatment has restored her to her frisky, funny self. Lexi gets along with cats, other dogs, enjoys people, children, just everybody she meets. She will make a pleasant companion to someone who has the patience to work with her on house-training. She likely has at least six good years of life left. She'd love to spend that as the special object of affection of a special family willing and able to manage her health challenges. The medications are not that expensive monthly but will be need to given on a consistent and daily basis.
