I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
These five kittens are the latest in a group dumped at a local marina. They are adjusting to being handled and learning that humans are good, particularly as a food source. We feel like once split up, they will do much better with their socializing, though it may take a little time.
Adoption fees are $40 per feline and $150 per canine unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).
*Coastal Pet Rescue adopted pets are microchipped. New pet parents are responsible for keeping their information accurate and up-to-date through the registry's free online system. (Information is provided as part of the adoption pack.)
30 Days Pet Insurance:
As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirstâs toll-free number 855-710-7387 to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.
