Ginger was found in late December behind an elementary school in her foster’s neighborhood. It was about to get really cold, so she was enticed with a treat in order to rescue her. She was timid at first, but it took only a few days of kindness and gentle treatment before she knew she was part of the family.
Ginger is a super sweet, energetic 2 year old pup. She loves to fetch, being pet, and giving kisses! She knows how to sit, loves to be outside, and does well with other dogs. Ginger has done really well with both male and female dogs in the same house. She has shown zero notion of acting out in the form of biting, attacking, or being mean to any person or dog. She loves boiled chicken and bacon, and is quick to learn new commands. Ginger is scheduled to be spayed shortly, and this will be done by mid January, before she is placed in a new home.
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Ginger is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
