Colt is a young handsome man who is seeking his perfect home. He is about a year and a half and 50 lbs. His zest for life, amazing ability to learn to love, trust and remain loyal is the ultimate dog lover's dream companion. Colt loves to run, swim, hike, and explore the world. He is overall a busy guy with high energy, therefore would do best with a family that can provide him plenty of daily stimulation, adventure, training, and lots of snuggles. Colt would not complain being an only dog in the home, but would also enjoy having a female companion, or a submissive male companion. He has never been around cats. Colt can use continued confidence building and socialization, as he is shy to warm up, but once he does, the bond he forms is worth every second.
Colt is available to be met at our Southbury CT adoption center upon approval of your application.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms and also has been examined by a CT vet in compliance with HB 5368. The adoption fee is $400.
