Lola's Story...
Lola is a brown, dwarf-lionhead bunny. Lola was born February 2015 and spayed in July 2015. She had a wellness exam January 2016 upon coming to the rescue. Lola is super sweet and wants to be near her human so they can give her ear and shoulder massages. She has beautiful flowing locks that the boys in her foster home find fascinating. She enjoys exploring and loves to run hard and skid to a sliding stop in front of you to present herself for more massages. Lola's adoption fee is $75. For more information please visit our website at www.wmicritterhaven.org. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Grand Rapids Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
