Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello My name is Floyd, I am a 4 year old purebred American Eskimo. I am an extremely cuddly dog with a lot of hair! I have gone through obedience and am great at the basic commands, and I was diagnosed earlier this year with Epilepsy.
I do require medication twice a day in order to make sure I do not have seizures, but as long as I get my medication I don't have any issues and am as happy as can be!
I love other dogs and regularly attend doggie daycare! But, I do have a habit of fear barking when i initially meet strangers, which my foster mom is helping me out with! Because of this fear I will not do well in a home with small children because they are a little too unpredictable for me. I would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are active and willing to continue with my training.
I will need to go to a home that is willing to have patience with me and help me overcome my fear. I am crate trained and completely house trained and I even know how to use a doggie door! If you would like to meet me please apply at www.newhoperescue.org
