Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey I'm Koda! I'm about 2 years old and am pretty small weighing in at about 12 lbs. I'm a cool and quirky little guy who is full of personality. I'm looking for a very special home. I need an adopter who will be patient with me. I can be nervous in new situations or with new people but I am really getting so much better in this area. I will do best in a home without children, in fact I would prefer a quiet home with a single person or a couple.
I am considered special needs because I've had a few seizures but now that I am on medication I don't have them anymore so it is no problem at all. I am very good at taking my medicine too. I just gobble it up- no problem at all!
I have the softest most beautiful coat, just perfect for cuddling. I will need regular grooming to keep my coat free of matting and I'm learning that being groomed is okay. I can be a bit of a grump about it though.
My foster mom says I'm quite the entertaining guy. I like to find treasures such as a sock or mitt and I try sneak quietly across the room making a bee-line for my crate. I'm always hoping my foster mom won't notice so I can deposit my treasure in the crate. I don't chew on anything, I just like to collect treasures. All in all I'm a pretty busy boy, whether it's playing with toys or another dog, spinning in circles or running in the yard, you'll usually find me on the go. I prefer a home with a fenced yard so I can continue running around a yard. I sure love it! Be sure to check out my video. I am the one chasing the other eskie!
I am neutered, vaccinated, housetrained and cratetrained. I would do best living in a house rather than a condo as sometimes I make some noise but mostly only when I have to go outside to potty or when I am very excited. I am good with other dogs and especially like dogs I can play with. I haven't met any cats but my foster mom thinks I would be a "cat chaser" so I may be best to be in a home without cats.
I love to cuddle and be petted and once I know I can trust you I would love to cuddle with you! Are you the right match for a unique little guy like me?
