Homer's Story...
Homer is a very happy, silly, goofy dog. He's lots of fun to have around. He knows how to be a real ham. He loves his playtime and going for walks. We estimate Homer to be about 7-8 years old, however he has so much life left in him - he acts and looks more like he's around 5 years old - moves well, health excellent, eyes clear, no signs of age. Homer will fulfill anyone's desire for an awesome companion. Please consider making Homer part of your family...he'll keep you smiling! If interested, please email Ricky at RickyC68@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer, a Simsbury Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Simsbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
